D-Wave Monitoring

About procedure

D-wave monitoring, an intraoperative method using an electrode placed on the spinal cord, evaluates motor pathways’ integrity during neurosurgical procedures. Measuring the direct motor response to electrical stimulation provides immediate corticospinal tract condition feedback, enabling surgeons to preserve motor function and prevent postoperative deficits, ensuring safer surgical results.
